Are you looking for information about our site or Florida title loans in general? Do you have questions or comments about our site or the resources or articles we provide? There’s a lot you need to know when it comes to making the best lending decision. We’re not attorneys and we don’t provide financial or legal advice, but we will do our best to point you in the right financial direction. We receive questions from applicants all the time. Here is a sample of some of the most common questions we hear:
-What type of credit score do I need to get approved for a vehicle equity loan in Miami? Can I still apply for an online loan if I have bad credit or a past bankruptcy? In the case of most pink slip loans, the lender is going to look more at the borrowers vehicle information and value. Some aspects of your credit history are important, but the vehicle equity information is most valuable.
-Do I need to work with a local lender that’s licensed to provide funding in my city, or can it be an online company? Does the title loan service need to have me meet with them in person or can everything be done online? You have the choice to choose between an online only service or a neighborhood lender. In either case you will need to submit to some type of vehicle inspection.
-Does my vehicle need to be paid off in full to use it as collateral? Most financial service companies will require a pink slip to be owned free and clear. Some title loan lenders will allow some variations to this, but it all depends on their underwriting rules.
-Can I pay off my title loan in Florida early and avoid interest rates and fees down the road? Yes, you can definitely get out from under a high interest title loan by paying it off early. We recommend all borrowers do this if they have the means as they will save a lot of money in the long run. Be sure your lender allows this practice and doesn’t have a prepayment penalty.
-Do I need to hand over my pink slip to the lender and can I keep driving my vehicle throughout the life of the loan? In the past you would need to hand over your pink slip and the vehicle! Now, you can keep possession of your car while the dealer holds your auto title. Most title loan services throughout the State of Florida will do a simple car title loan and hold the pink slip as collateral.
